Request deletion of your Calmiq account and associated data.
Calmiq users can request account deletion, deletion of specific app data, or a data export by emailing support@calmiq.app.
How To Request Account Deletion
- Email support@calmiq.app with the subject line "Delete my Calmiq account".
- Send the request from the email address linked to your Calmiq account. If you use Google sign-in, use the same Google account email.
- If you use a guest account, include the name shown in your Calmiq profile and any details that help us identify the account.
- We may ask for confirmation before deleting data so that another person cannot delete your account without permission.
Data Deleted
When your account deletion request is verified, Calmiq deletes or anonymizes account data associated with your app account, including profile details, sign-in identifiers, Talk messages and summaries, journal entries, preferences, trusted contacts, usage counters, and subscription entitlement cache stored by Calmiq.
Voice recordings are used for transcription and discarded after processing; Calmiq does not keep them as audio files.
Data We May Retain Temporarily
Some operational records may remain for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, dispute handling, or backup integrity. Backup and operational log copies are normally removed within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.
Subscription and payment records handled by Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, or payment processors may be retained by those providers under their own policies. Calmiq does not store full payment card details.
Delete Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
You can also request deletion of specific Calmiq data, such as journal entries, Talk history, profile photo, trusted contacts, or preferences, without deleting your full account. Email support@calmiq.app and describe what you want deleted.
